Gene and Robin have worked with the following organizations or have found much of the material that they produce to be useful.  We may not endorse all that they say or do but can recommend them for your use.

The county Children's Advocacy Centers are resources to help families with immediate responses to child sexual abuse.

Darkness to Light

Darkness to Light provides training for mature teens and adults who want to learn how to recognize, prevent, and act responsibly to child sexual abuse.  Gene and Robin are your local authorized facilitators.

Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment

G.R.A.C.E. is a group of experts who provide independent investigations, consultations, and safety certification programs to faith based organizations.

Rise and Shine Movement

Learn how to talk to your children about body safety and sexual abuse.  They provide books and videos to help care givers talk to children.

Network of Victim's Assistance

Network of Victim's Assistance is the Bucks County resource for victims of sexual or other violent crime.  Offering counseling, aid, and support, they also host the county's Child Advocacy Center.

The Mama Bear Effect

The Mama Bear Effect is a site for parents with resources to help them talk with their children about body safety and sexual abuse.

S.E.S.A.M.E. is the leading national voice for the prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment of students by teachers and other school staff.

Speak Your Silence

Speak Your Silence encourages survivors to find their voice and speak out without shame.  They make in-person, one-on-one counseling accessible nationwide for those personally affected by sexual abuse and assault.

RAINN

Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE) and carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.

The Bucks County Children’s Advocacy Center provides a safe, child- friendly environment.  Law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, victim advocacy, medical and mental health professionals collaborate in order to develop effective, coordinated strategies to investigate reports of suspected child abuse. These strategies are child-focused and uniquely based on each individual situation.

Mission Kids. Montgomery County's Children's Advocacy Center, provides a center for the team investigation of child abuse cases. Child abuse victims are interviewed in a child-friendly setting by a specially trained forensic interviewer. The interviews are conducted in a manner that is legally sound, neutral, fact-finding, and coordinated to avoid repeated interviews and trauma to the child.

The Delaware County Children’s Advocacy Center provides a victim-focused response to abuse so children and families are able to heal.We coordinate investigations with law enforcement, child protection agencies, prosecutors, mental health and medical professionals, and victim advocates to work together when investigating allegations of child sexual abuse in Delaware County.

The Philadelphia Children's Alliance is a child-friendly facility, where experts in the fields of law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, medicine and mental health collaborate to guide children down the path of healing. 

We are a resource for anyone concerned about helping sexually abused children or seeking information on the subject.
